French Romantic Specification (Cavaille-Coll)
*
This is one of the larger instruments in Houston, in a beautiful reverberant roon.  It boasts some very noble features of large
cathedral-scale organs.   Numerous coloristic reeds, commanding trombas on the Great;
a wide variety of softer orchestral colors on the string division.  Numerous assists and specialty wooden inlay
on the stop knobs.  This instrument is exciting ineeed,  both visually and aurally.
The specification is French Romantic with sampled pipe sounds from Caville-Coll historic
organs in Paris, France.  The Renaissance
HERITAGE organ from Allen Organs incorporates console construction
features as well as tonal inovations that are exclusive only to the custom
HERITAGE models.
Check Events later this year for information.

Musical Instruments at St. Matthew
Harpsichord - For use in Baroque and early music programs, either as continuo or accompaniment.
Especially desirable with strings or in combination with solo instruments such as flute, or vocal and organ.
The Carillon - Especially complementary with weddings as prelude, announcement peals and bell "fanfares"
for the bride.  See "Carillon" page for full information.
Piano - The Kawai professional upright currently provides quality music for  accompaniment and some solo work.
- NOTICE -
Walls around the console restricting  visibility,  limit a comprehensive concert offering to the general public.    Hopefully this
will be a short term problem as funds become available for a more appropriate railing design that will support and attract
public concert and recital events in the futue.  For organ events in Houston please visit:
